Elegant White and Gold Engagement Party Decor in North London
For this beautiful engagement celebration, we were asked to transform the entire function space for approximately 80 guests. From the table decorations and personalised entrance display to a dedicated photo area, every detail was coordinated around an elegant white-and-gold theme.
The party took place at Arkley Golf Club in North London, where the spacious room gave us the perfect blank canvas for a complete engagement party setup.
Styling the Tables for 80 Guests
The guest tables formed the main part of the room, so it was important that they looked impressive without feeling overcrowded.
We used a combination of tall white floral centrepieces and smaller table arrangements to create height and variation throughout the venue. Gold stands, soft greenery, elegant runners and warm candlelight tied everything together, while white chair covers completed the clean and luxurious finish.
The different centrepiece heights helped the decor feel full and balanced across such a large space. They also created a beautiful view as guests entered the room, without preventing people from comfortably speaking across the tables.
The Personal Touches That Brought It Together
Small details can make a big difference when decorating an engagement party. Custom engagement confetti was scattered across the table runners, adding a personal touch that guests could notice once seated.
At the entrance, we displayed a custom-made engagement party welcome board featuring the couple’s names and celebration date. The sign was placed on a wooden easel and decorated with coordinating white flowers and greenery, introducing the theme before guests entered the main space.
These personalised details made the decor feel unique to the couple and helped create a consistent experience from the entrance through to the dining tables.
A White Heart Setup for Guest Photographs
Our white heart setup was positioned inside the venue with a glowing “Engaged” sign, creating a dedicated engagement party photo area.
Rather than being used for a surprise proposal, the heart became a backdrop where the couple could take photographs with different groups of family and friends. It gave guests an interactive part of the decor to enjoy and created a natural place to capture memories throughout the celebration.
