A Romantic Outdoor Proposal at Burnham Beeches
The perfect setting, the perfect setup, and then nature decides to play its part too. This proposal at Burnham Beeches, set in the stunning grounds just outside of London, was exactly that kind of proposal.
The Venue
If you haven't considered Burnham Beeches for an outdoor proposal, put it on your list immediately. The spacious, open grounds, lush greenery and beautiful ornate pergola make it one of the most naturally romantic settings within easy reach of London. The team there were wonderful hosts - attentive, accommodating and genuinely invested in making the day special. We'd recommend them without hesitation to any couple considering an outdoor proposal around West London.
The Setup
The centrepiece was our statement red rose heart arch, a glowing Will You Marry Me? sign hung perfectly in the centre, with the greenery in the background.
In front of the arch, we set the scene with white candles and a red rose teddy bear, with the red walkway really setting the tone. Red rose petals blew softly with the sweeping wind, while the red heart balloons also added a soft touch.
Outside the gazebo, a table with champagne lay in wait for the afters, with a photo bunting string tied across each side of the pergola to add that extra personal element. Every detail was incredibly well thought through, and we love being a part of these moments, where it is clear to see how genuine a connection is between two people.
The Moment
The morning started with a bit of unpredictable British weather, with wind and a few spots of rain, but the clouds parted exactly at the perfect moment as the couple arrived. The whole setup was bathed in sunlight, which was a miracle given how wet it was in the morning, and it really felt like the universe was on our side! Some things really are just meant to be.
Of course, she said Yes!
Being a part of this setup was genuinely unique, and an afternoon we will cherish forever. The moment itself was spectacular, with colourful pyro let off in the background, and drone shots covering every miniscule detail. It's also great to see a couple share their big moment with family around them - it makes the event extra special seeing everyone so happy.
